Bernice F. Jenkins has worked as a management accountant for over 20 years across multiple industries and geographical regions. Jenkins began her career with the General Electric Company (GE) as a graduate of two of GE’s financial leadership development programs: the Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff. Jenkins has spent the last 13 years in multiple roles as a senior accountant and finance analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.

Jenkins also serves on two of IMA’s standing advisory committees: the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Committee and the ICMA Exam Review Committee. Jenkins has also served on IMA’s Annual Program Committee. As part of the IMA Global Board, Jenkins serves on the Performance Oversight and Audit Board Committee.

Jenkins graduated from Tuskegee University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has also earned an MBA and MAcc from Samford University.
