Catherine (Cate) Long, CMA
Cate Long is currently an executive advisor for start-up companies. Previously, she enjoyed a 16-year career in various strategic roles for SAP Concur, a travel and expense software company. She served as VP of professional services; led the first customer experience improvement team; and launched the small- and middle-market strategies and methodologies for account management and implementation services, building out global teams in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Prior to her career in software, Long was a controller for mid-sized manufacturing companies.
In addition to her service on the IMA Global Board, Long also is active as a Campus Influencer with the Wild West Council and the Las Vegas Chapter. She also has served on the IMA Committee on Ethics. Currently, Long is chair of IMA’s Volunteer Relations Standing Board Committee and a member of the Governance Standing Board Committee.
Long holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Mount Union and an MBA from the University of Nebraska, Omaha.
