Jaywardhan (Jay) Semwal has served as vice president, corporate financial accounting, for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HP/HPE) since May 2018. He has been with HP/HPE for the last 15+ years and has worked in varied areas of revenue management, supply chain finance, expense management, accounting, reporting, and analytics.

Prior to joining HP, Semwal worked with several multinational companies, including GE Capital, Prudential Financial, ICICI Bank, and Fiat Spa. He has more than 24 years of experience in the areas of automotive design, corporate finance, business finance, financial markets, international banking, FPA&R, accounting, and analytics.

Semwal holds a BE in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India; an international graduate degree in automobile engineering from ISVOR Fiat, Italy; and an MBA in finance from XLRI Jamshedpur, India. He also holds a diploma in Italian language. Semwal currently serves as a member of IMA’s Global Markets Committee.
